One of the best parts of camping is hanging around the campfire, eating good food, roasting marshmallows, reliving the day’s adventures and telling stories. There’s nothing quite like a home-cooked meal over top of a warm campfire. In our travels, we have found that there are no two campsites or campfire rings alike, which makes having the Coleman Tripod Grill essential to creating amazing campfire meals.

What sets it apart?

There are a few key features that make this Coleman Tripod Grill exactly what you need on your next camping trip. First, it’s lightweight and easy to store with collapsible legs. You will also find that your campfire size will vary from adventure to adventure, so the adjustable tripod leg width and grill grate height are essential for use over any fire. The legs are made from a durable galvanized steel that will not only last long, but will also combat corrosion from use in natural elements.

How do I use it?

It’s so easy to set up and use! It doesn’t matter if you have a built-in fire ring or made your own on a beach, you can easily and quickly set up and cook with the Coleman Tripod Grill. Just open the collapsible legs and adjust them to the proper width around your fire ring. Then adjust the height of the grill grate so you can cook your meal to perfection with the right amount of heat. Once you’re finished, remove it from the fire to cool down, then clean, collapse and store it until you cook your next meal.

How much?

Adventurtunity Family insight:

We cook at least 80% of the meals we eat while living on the road full-time. If we aren’t griddling, we are cooking over the fire! We even cooked our Thanksgiving turkey over a fire using our tripod grill. One thing we have found helpful depending on the meal is to cover the grill grate with foil, so potatoes or smaller items don’t fall into the fire. We also occasionally use a foil tray on top of the grill grate to cook those items. Adjusting the height of the grill grate during your cooking is essential as your fire changes. The Coleman Tripod makes it really easy to do without worry about burning your hands.
