A Day Out{side} Visiting Niagara Falls
The Adventurtunity Family documents their experience seeing the iconic Niagara Falls for the first time.
We took a day outside to explore Niagara Falls outside of Buffalo, New York. We had never been before and were so excited to finally see this icon of American beauty in person.
There are several vantage points from which you can view the Canadian, and the American falls from the shore.
However, nothing is more up close and personal than the Maid of the Mist tour, which takes you right to the base of the Canadian Falls. On the day we went. It was quite chilly and very windy, so we decided to stay on shore and check out the Cave of the Winds tour instead of the Cave of the Winds tour is perfect for all ages as it takes you along the lower level of the American Falls.
And the best part is checking out the hurricane deck, where you can actually go in stand in a portion of the falls. To say we got soaked is a bit of an understatement, but it was so much fun. While we dried off, we enjoyed a quick snack of fresh made donuts.
Niagara Falls is incredibly beautiful and a great way to spend a day outside with your family.
