With unbelievable panoramic views of the valley and red rock vistas, hiking in Sedona offers picturesque scenery for everyone to enjoy.

We met up with some friends to spend a day outside in beautiful Sedona, Arizona. We hiked to the well-known Birthing Cave, and it was absolutely incredible! It is said that the Hopi people who inhabited the area would send pregnant women to this cave to give birth. It’s a relatively easy, short 2-mile round-trip hike with a moderate incline at the base of the cave. Once inside, you get an unbelievable panoramic view of the valley below as well as distant red rock vistas. It really is a peaceful place to enjoy! But our adventure wasn’t over when we left the cave. We took a detour to the top of the ridge where we found a cave dwelling and more amazing views of the other side of the valley. There are no bad views in Sedona, and this hike was no exception. It’s truly a beautiful place to visit!
