Sugar Plums With Jimmy Kennedy
Jimmy Kennedy here again would go outside and we’re going to make another Christmas treat for you today. These are super simple, super yummy and great for outdoor treats. Any outdoor activity, really. Almonds, dates, apricots, walnuts, raisins, all kind of good stuff.
And we blend these four metal bowls, Goldman and maple sugar. And you can pack them, take them anywhere you want to go and a great Christmas or any time. And captain, for you to go. OK, so Janine, let’s just go ahead and put everything into our blender almonds, walnuts, is this healthy stuff of raisins that child?
No. Have a lot to do with the big amount. I got some paprika adds some dates. Also chicken stuffed animal. It’s going to be sticky. That’s what we do is we blend all this together and put a little orange juice concentrate in there.
This is the concentrate we just all of. That’s a little bit less weight than a few different ways. But here comes the fun part. Yeah. Now see what we got right? Right? I started to look pretty good. We’ve had to start a few times because it’s super thick or sticky, but it’s looking pretty good.
Everything’s broken up. Let’s see what we got. Put it this way. Thank you. Smelling like trail mix to me. Something like that. Yeah, that isn’t it. I think that orange juice concentrate. It’s kind of sweet as a little sweetness to it, I think.
Yeah, I think so. I’m not so sure. Of course it would. You don’t like birds as much as I do, though. All right, that’s most of it there. So what we’re going to do now is we’re going to take this mixture and roll, it is sugar.
This is a combination of maple sugar and regular white sugar. But I like you than just straight maple and you can get enough of it. It’s it gives it a much better flavor. And here in Vermont, it’s easy to get.
Yeah. Then we’re going to put them in these little rounds. These little guys just set them in a fridge for a little bit. And when you’re ready to go and you have to pack them up, put them in a small container and you can keep them in these things or just put them in a Ziploc bag, whatever’s
easy for you. You’ll see what I have to say. All right, so this do you mean a roll? Yes. OK. I was. I’m getting news. I’ve got good clean hands. This big, little ball in any size. So I’m in a sugar trough, which.
Taste better in chocolate. Well, maybe not butter. I don’t like to do this week, so I’m not going to do a lot of sugar. You just keep going these. Well, the beauty is here, these are so good and.
They last a long time. You can keep these air tight container in the fridge for at least a couple of weeks, if not longer. I like to take these and I’ll put a little Tupperware for these. And the the boat cooler, just pop him in the mouth or you’re fishing, it super easy.
And healthy ish. That’s all it is to it, and you just keep going until we get a bunch of them. OK, we got us some sugar plums to save for maybe going skiing or a session or something, and there are probably just eating.
These are great for around the holidays or any time, really. They’re super duper easy to make, but they take five or 1010 minutes. Yeah. Super quick, super fun and super delicious. Make these enjoy and go outside and see our next town.
