June’s Dessert Salad

Sweet and simple dessert that’s perfect for any outdoor adventure.

June loves fruit and sweets, and this is her very own creation. She makes this for the family at least once a week, but it seems she’s getting lighter on the berries and heavier on the whipped cream, chocolate syrup and sprinkles!

 Ingredients

  • sliced berries (strawberries, blueberries, raspberries, blackberries or any assortment of berries)
  • whipped cream
  • chocolate syrup
  • 1 to 2 tablespoons chocolate chips
  • sprinkles
  • maraschino cherries, two per glass

 

Directions

In a decorative glass, place the berries so you can see a good mix and it’s about ¾ full. Next, add the chocolate chips. Then fill the rest of the glass (plus a little extra) with the whipped cream. Gently add the chocolate syrup to the top and sides of the whipped cream, add the sprinkles and top with the cherries.

 

Yield: 2 dessert salads
