Fireless S’mores
No campfire, no problem. These delicious s’mores are fun to make and an easy dessert to whip up and put on the grill.
Hi I’m Spencer. I’m Christie. And you are– and I’m Kade.
We’re in Wyoming currently, and the campground here does not allow fires. But we promised our little Kade Sawyer some s’mores. So today we are sharing with you fireless s’mores.
To get us started– We are going to do a little bit of an assembly line here. We’ve got sugar cones, waffle cone, sugar cones– any kind of cone will work. Would you…
First we need to turn the grill on.
We need to have heat.
I thought you already did that?
Fireless doesn’t mean heatless.
You need the heat too. So true.
All right. So we’ve got some Hershey chocolate bars. If you’ve got big chocolate, you’ll just cut those up. And then what should we put in your cone next?
Marshmallow. So we’re going to cut up the marshmallow a little bit so we can pop those guys in there really well. Push down. OK, now what goes next? Do you want peanut butter? Do you want some hazelnut spread?
Do you want more chocolate? The little bit of hazelnut.
Going to cut up a little bit more marshmallow to top this cone.
All right. And then send it over to daddy for the wrapping.
I am starting with marshmallows in the bottom of my mine.
Can I help you? Sure. OK.
Then I’m going to layer in a little bit of peanut butter.. and then what?
Just a little extra peanut butter because it’s just so good. And then I’m going to take a chocolate– break it in half. And then I’m going to top it off with my marshmallow — to make it.. A little bit more peanut butter — and we will just send this one over to daddy.
That’s right. Yep.
Start now with the griddle on medium, medium high.
Just to get it hot and then I’ll always stick these on there. I’m going to bring it down to low so that we don’t burn the cones through the foil. What you’re trying to do really just melt all the ingredients inside without scorching the outside.
We are ready to place them on the griddle. If you want to spread them out on the griddle, make sure that they’ve got room to heat.
What you want– what you’ll want to do is just rotate them throughout the cooking process and it shouldn’t take too long.
All right. So it’s time to take these off.
Really only leave them on there for probably about five to six or seven minutes, just enough time to melt everything inside. Oh, my goodness. It smells so good. And take a little bit of chocolate syrup.
I’m just going to drizzle these.
All right, Kade, how is it?
Fantastic. Fantastic? All right.
Mommy and daddy’s turn. This is where the mine is. Lots of peanut butter.
I don’t know if these are necessarily beard friendly snacks, but I would say the best ones probably aren’t.
All right, here goes.
What do you think? Wow. Wow. So good. Well, these are fireless s’mores made on our Blackstone griddle, and I would say that they came out pretty good. They’re delicious. So so good.
Definitely messy like they should be. This is just a fun snack.
It’s fun to make your own. It’s a great snack for kids. And the Blackstone just totally nailed it. Made it work. That’s right. Yeah. So you don’t need a fire to have s’mores.
