Campfire Pizza with Jimmy Kennedy
These little pizzas are a perfect dinner that everyone can customize with their own toppings. Cook them outside on the grill or over a campfire.
00:00:24:25 – 00:00:35:35
Hey, everybody. Jimmy Kennedy would go outside once again, and we’re here in the home kitchen today and we’re going to start here, they were going to go outside and make some pizza, in my opinion, one of the best foods ever.
00:00:35:36 – 00:00:50:24
We make this dough a lot at home. We sometimes cook it in the kitchen here or we go outside cooking on the grill. And you can premade the pizzas to just grill them up at home and then take them where you put them in your backpack, put them in your fridge, Google or whatever, and they’re ready to
00:00:50:24 – 00:00:59:56
roll once you get to the the campsite, and it’s very easy to do that way. We’ll go through the whole process, but we’re going to get the prep roll in here in the kitchen and then we’ll go outside and could be there.
00:01:01:02 – 00:01:14:43
So it’s really only a few ingredients. We have flour, three cups of flour, a little bit of salt in here, one cup of warm water, a little honey yeast and, oh well, super easy to make. Firstly, I want to get some warm water.
00:01:16:12 – 00:01:32:34
Mix that with the honey, a tablespoon of honey, one cup of water is going to sit in there, that looks good, but then we’re just going to sprinkle the east on top. And if you let the surf for 5:10 minutes, it’s going to start to bubble.
00:01:32:34 – 00:01:47:43
Pretty good. OK, so we have our flour, a little bit of salt and then we have a warm water with honey in the yeast is looking good. It’s been sitting in there about five or ten minutes. It’s going to pour that right into the flour smells so good already.
00:01:49:02 – 00:02:11:05
Then you add about a tablespoon of olive oil. Very good. It’s close. It’s good to mix this together. Get it started a little bit. And then we just got to take her hands and get in there and need this, get it all mixed up.
00:02:20:24 – 00:02:34:48
If you can keep one clean, that’s usually good, but definitely better. Just for this until it forms a though, OK, we’ve got our dough punched down a little bit and then we’ve got it nice and wrap real, nice and tight.
00:02:35:15 – 00:02:52:01
We’re just going to let it rise for about two hours. And you want it to about double in size. They won’t come back and form in the little balls and make some pizzas. Hey, so we have our crust all made and I started grilling needs a little bit and the crust, once you get them grilled a little
00:02:52:01 – 00:03:03:38
bit, I don’t like to brown them too much. Just let them cool and put them in a Ziploc bag and put them in the cooler. Take a where you can eat these as it is, or you can make delicious pizza at campsite with them.
00:03:03:40 – 00:03:16:34
And the fact that you have made is homemade, though, and made the crust. It’s ready to roll. Like two or three minutes on the grill, you can add anything you want to this and you have a homemade pizza, and it’s super easy and super quick.
00:03:16:55 – 00:03:44:05
I’ll get the girls and we’ll show you guys next steps. He looks like you guys got a pretty good chance that you’ll find out the list and anything you want. As I said earlier, it’s kind of like an omelet.
00:03:44:05 – 00:03:54:17
You can put anything in it. You want any kind of cheese, any kind of ingredients. And if you’re at a campsite, it’s a good idea to have a lid. That way, you can put it on there. It’s kind of like having an oven.
00:03:54:48 – 00:04:10:21
That’s all it is to. It will be done in a few seconds, something that’s oh yeah, it’s looking great. This is hot and ready to roll. Enjoy this recipe. It’s as fun. one Take here, so you don’t.
