You bought the RV, now where do you take it?

Starting with breathtaking lakefront views is always an excellent option. Our partners at Go RVing recommend eight campgrounds with gorgeous scenery.

The first one on the list is Shelter Cove RV Resort on Odell Lake in Oregon. The Puglisi family describes it as  feeling “ like a dream from a storybook.”

Another must see on the list- Otter Lake Camp Resort in Pocono Mountains, Pennsylvania. There is no shortage of activities at this campground. Baseball and softball fields, tennis courts, basketball courts, indoor and outdoor pools, hiking trails and a splash pad just barely begin to start the list.

“Otter Lake Camp Resort is a family favorite that many RV owners return to summer after summer,” the Puglisis said.

The Go RVing writers include waterfront campsites in Missouri, California, Michigan, New Hampshire and New York on their eight must-see places.

The family’s last tidbit of advice: don’t forget to bring sunscreen.
