Candace is an avid angler with an immense passion for everything outdoors.
Much of her childhood was spent exploring the vast wilderness of the Colorado Rockies with her father, who was a devoted outdoorsman. They did everything the rustic way – no electricity, no showers, no cell phones (not that cell phones were a thing back then) and she has never stopped building upon that ‘primitive wisdom’ that was passed down to her.
Now a wife and mother, she approaches everything with a more modern attitude, but continues to instill many of those rustic traditions as they explore and fish new waters in the southeastern United States.
Candace loves to develop and share the knowledge, discipline and joy that years of experience has brought her.
Aside from her travels, she is a business professional in the retail industry who enjoys life at home in southern Alabama with her husband, Matt, her daughter, Averi and wolf-dog, Ghost.
